us about the location where Eo! is located?
EO! Kids Fashion is located in the heart of Dudelange. Just a few meters
away from the city hall, church and a beautiful park with huge
playgrounds for children.
We opened our unique store in the commercial centre of the city next to
other stores, cafés and restaurants. There we will also be a new web
presence soon, as we will launch our new web shop at
www.eo-kidsfashion.lu.
How come you decided to start a shop?
Jeannine is a mother of a beautiful young princess and not liking
what she had been seeing in the stores (always the same collections,
mini adults, a.s.o.), she decided to open a new shop with a new concept.
Jeannine told her best friend Joëlle about her idea and without
hesitating, Joëlle showed interest and enthusiasm and offered to start
the adventure together. “The clothes and accessories that we would sell,
had to be more colourful and more environmental friendly. We were
convinced that the people here in Luxembourg would adopt our ideas and
taste for this new concept, and THEY DID!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
We are Jeannine and Joëlle. As we were kids, we always wanted to be
independent later on and at that time, one of our dreams was to open a
café together. Well, we’ve grown up and our needs have changed. ;o)
I, Jeannine, am mother and an “Export Handling Agent”; Joëlle is an
educator in a home for disabled people. We are both young and motivated
business women, who want to bring some freshness and colour into the
hackneyed kids’ fashion in Luxembourg. We want to prove that “ecological
clothes” can be fun, colourful and stylish, too. DUNS Sweden is the
perfect match!
What does the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
Our costumers “love” DUNS Sweden! A lot of them were more than happy
when we opened. A lot of them used to buy their clothes abroad or on the
internet and are really happy that we’ve opened the first shop here in
Luxembourg. We can’t complain, the enthusiasm for our brands and success

us about the location where Uni is located?
We have three stores in Sweden. Two in Stockholm placed centrally and on
streets that have cafe´s and playgroundparks around the corner. We also
and have a wonderful shop in Linköping. And a webbshop! You can look in

How come you decided to start a shop?
We saw the need for childrens
clothes that allowed children to play and have fun and NOT look like
small adults. And also we don´t divide the clothes into "boy´s" and
"girl´s". Our shop is totally UNISEX, hence the name. We are very much
into organic thinking and natural products because we really think there
is a need and demand for it.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
We are Linda Glad and Sara Skogsmark. Sara is a mother of three and it
was when her oldest son was born that the idea with UNI started to grow.
The first shop opened in 2005.
What does the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
They
are usually exited about the colors and prints and the fact that these
colors and wonderful prints are made in a good production is very
appreciated. Also DUNS Sweden is known for good quality witch for us
puts that extra dimension on organic garments; you can use the clothes
for a long time.

us about the location where Små is located?
SMÅ is located in
Charlottenburg, Berlin, in a shopping street in an exclusive residential
area with walking distance to S-bahn (S Charlottenburg) and U-bahn
(Wilmersdorferstrasse). It is a good location with lots of people

How come you decided to start a shop?
I was on maternity leave from my work as a lawyer
in Stockholm when my husband got the opportunity to start working in
Berlin. After almost three years in Berlin, my twin boys turned 3 and I
wanted to start working, I found an ad looking for someone that wanted
to rent a part of an existing shop. During my two years in Berlin I
always found it hard to find nice clothes for my children and since many
Germans like Swedish products I thought it would be a good idea to
introduce Swedish children's wear
to them.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a lawyer with no earlier experience from
retail and I find it really exciting to start up something that is
totally new for me. As a mother of two small boys of course I have also
a big interest in children´s wear, so the choice to start selling that
was natural.
What does the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
The children´s wear in the part of Berlin where I live and the store is
situated, is often rather dark, grey and without any patterns. Start
selling the colorful DUNS Sweden was exciting, I had no idea what the
customers would think. But almost all customers find the garments fun
and refreshing, and that is is something different. They also enjoy the
organic cotton.

Featured shop in 'We Love You' is Jättefint in Germany. (2010#4)
Tell
us about the location where Jättefint is located?
JÄTTEFINT is a lifestyle shop with exclusive products
solely from Scandinavia. The shop is located in a trendy district of
West Cologne called Sülz, where mainly young people and families live.
Actually this it is the part of Cologne where the most families per
square meter are living! In the summertime and in late autumn you can
sit outside in one of the many nice cafés and restaurants. The quarter
has many nice small shops and the atmosphere is very open-minded, lively
and familiar. Many people pass by every day, the tram also stops
directly in front of my shop.
How come you decided to start a shop?
Last year as I
visited Göteborg I occasionally passed by the DUNS-shop at Prinsgatan,
and started to talk to Christin. The colourful and playful designs of
DUNS were like a magnet to me, I couldn’t get the clothes out of my
head. So I decided that now it’s time to take the great clothes to
Cologne and open up a Scandinavian shop. Thank you Christin for the
inspiration! The idea of opening up a shop has been a dream for many
years, we always used to buy children clothes and Scandinavian products
back home in Finland and over the years many German friends have asked,
why they couldn’t find these nice things here in Cologne. I’m so happy
with my own little Scandinavian paradise here in Germany, JÄTTEFINT is
like being home in Scandinavia!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m
Finnish, and I belong to the minority in Finland with Swedish as mother
tongue. I have been living in Cologne for twelve years. My husband is
German and we have a seven-year-old daughter. I have a degree as Master
of French and Finnish. I have always loved colourful designs and
clothes, as I was studying French I spent two years in Paris, and
studied at ESMOD, an international fashion and stylist school. Later I
worked in the publishing business for almost ten years, first in an
international publishing house in Cologne and then with my own
translation agency BOKIRJA as a book producer. I still run this company
but I felt like missing something. Now the puzzle finally is completed
with JÄTTEFINT. Jättefint is Swedish and means “Very nice” or “Really
great”. My goal is that the customers who enter my shop should look at
everything and say “Superschön” in German, or even better “Jättefint” in

Some
ask, if the garment is meant to be a pyjama. In Germany it’s not so
usual to wear this kind of clothes. Luckily there are many, who think
the clothes are really great and they find the playful prints new and
refreshing. Only three weeks after the opening I already have customers
coming in again, to buy more DUNS Sweden-clothes. The customers
appreciate the high quality and the organic cotton! DUNS Sweden are “Gute-Laune-Kleidung”,
when you wear it, you will get in a good mood, and this is the greatest
thing about DUNS Sweden!

us about the location where Ellen & Elvira is located?
The Ellen & Elvira shop is situated in Vasa city center, one block from
the square. We chosed this spot since we find the walking distance from
the square is very important. Also very convenient for customers coming
by car. There are parking space right outside the shop (free of charge
at closing time everyday...)
How come you decided to start a shop?
The idea to open a shop sprung from a discussion between me and two
friends. They both
were very bored on their jobs and my maternity leave was about to end.
One of these
friends and myself started the shop but after a short while my friend
had to leave and I
decided to continue the business on my own. I haven't regretted that one
second.
When we started the shop we were the first to be able to offer organic
children's wear.
Since then the assortment has grown to include children's books (from
Sweden) and a lot
of other stuff.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I consider myself to be a positive, outgoing and ambitious single mother
of two. I have a
degree as Bachelor of Commerce, concentrating in foreign business. I
have run my own business since 1993 and have always kept myself busy
with different ideas. With the shop
I feel that I can combine all my interests.
What does the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
Duns Sweden is a success here and around Vasa. Before you could only
find DUNS Sweden
on the Internet. Although I buy a lot of DUNS Sweden garments to the
shop I still could buy
a lot more. A lot of customers find the colours really uplifting and
also enjoy the organic
cotton! A funny story from this summer was that a lot of Swedish
tourists bought DUNS Sweden in the shop and consequently brought the
garments back to Sweden...

us about the location where Knotsknetter is located?
Knotsknetter is located on the
World Wide Web, but my working place is
Amsterdam.
For how long have you've had the shop?
For
almost 4 years now.
How come you decided to start a shop?
As a
busy mom with a patchwork family, I decided to make my own living at
home.
Another reason was that I couldn’t stop collecting beautiful fabrics,
mostly retro from the seventies. All that fabrics turned into a big pile
in my house and I had to do something with it!
I started making dresses, skirts, bibs, bags etc. and found out people
loved it and wanted to buy my creations. The shop turned out to be
successful and now I ‘m looking for beautiful brands to extend my
supplies.
I already found DUNS Sweden!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
As I mentioned, I’m a busy mom of three children, aged between 9 and 19.
I studied handicrafts in the past (and, to be honest, lots of other
thingsJ),
and finally found out what makes me happy, namely to create and sell
beautiful products for children.

My customers immediately fell in love with DUNS Sweden, just like I did.

us about the location where Lutterlagkage is located?
Though
of Danish origin, the lutterlagkage showroom/boutique is located in
beautiful “Gamla Väster”
in Malmö. Tucked away in one of the narrow
old cobblestone streets but very close to Lilla
Torg, the Central Station and the city
centre I have my bright shop where I create clothes and accessories for
my own label,

and sell and showcase clothing and accessories from other beautiful
brands such as DUNS Sweden.
For how long have you've had the shop?
I have been on the internet with my webshop
www.lutterlagkage.dk for about 5 years
now. It was only after I moved from Denmark to Malmö, Sweden that I had
a chance to open a brick-and-mortar shop. When I stumbled upon this shop
for rent I fell in love immediately! After having restored and
redecorated the shop I opened in September. My main focus is still the
webshop so I have only one day open a week; I’m always here on Thursdays
from 11-16. The shop is also open when something creative is going on at
the studio – which happens a lot :)
How come you decided to start a shop?
I wanted to have a place where I could put all the beautiful things I
sell at the webshop on display so I could enjoy them more, sell more and
create more! It makes me so happy to open the door and enter the shop.
All the vibrant colours and the ambience is so inspiring. I also wanted
to share my little universe with my customers in a more direct way than
on the internet.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a 38-year old mother of two, ex-teacher, lifelong creative. I love
colour and I am focused on sustainability and quality– which is why I
adore DUNS Sweden. I have always dreamed of making something creative my
career. In other words; I try to live the dream!
What does the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
The bold prints and colours strike a cord in people. The design with
it’s clear references to the seventies make you remember a time less
complicated. When people realize it’s organic it’s only a bonus. I try
to encourage mismatching and mixing the prints. That’s a lot of fun!

Tell us about the location where Nuttu is located?
Nuttu is located on main street on city of Kotka which is located on the
southern coast of Finland about 120 kilometers east of Finnish Capital
Helsinki. Kotka is a nice summercity and
has about 60.000 habitants.
For
how long have you had the shop?
Nuttu has been up and running since april 2009.

How come you decided to start a shop?
I sell in my shop new clothes and accessories and also used clothes and
accessories.
Recycling is a way of life to me and so recycling of clothes is really
close to my heart. The idea of my shop is to sell really good
conditioned used clothes and accessories (toys etc.). I feel that
DUNS-clothes and philosophy works really good with my own and colours
and graphics of clothes fit in to my store perfectly. There really was a
demand in my town for these kind of operation so now I got to do what
i've always have wanted: to keep my own store!
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I'm just little over 30, wife and a mother of two daughters (4 and 2
years) I'm really just beginner of this business, my "real" occupation
is a nurse. I'm trying to do things as good as I can and I believe it
will bear a fruit. Family and friends are the most important things in
my life! I try to live my life so that me myself and everyone around are
feeling good. I'm positive and happy in my nature and I think that it
shows on the overall look of my shop also. (And I think that it is also
the reason why I like Duns so much!)
What do the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
DUNS clothes have had great reception on my shop and I also love them
myself! Also my two daughters have fallen in love with DUNS! Biggest
reason why people like DUNS is the colours and really nice prints.
Quality of clothes is also really good. Many people like the ideaology
of DUNS also. I often hear parents say to their children "We have to get
that shirt to you, I had almost similar myself when I was at your age!".
Those nice colours and fresh prints also get the attention of many
children. Many children has fallen so much in love with their new DUNS

Tell us about the location where Russinet is located?
The "brick and mortar" location of the Russinet shop is situated at the
heart of Sundyberg, just to the north of Stockholm, Sweden. The physical
shop is located just by the T/subway station so it is in a very high
traffic location. Many people pass by every day. There are a number of
large companies located just around the corner, so the shop is always
crowded during their employees´ lunch hours.
 For
how long have you had the shop/web shop?
My web shop relaunched under the name
www.russinet.se in the year 2006. Due to very high demand and
frequent requests, the shop in Sundyberg opened in the fall of 2007.
How come you decided to start a shop/web shop?
I created a Swedish clothing line earlier on my own. I actually started
out selling my own designs. It soon became apparent, however, that
Internet-based shopping was going to be the wave of the future. The
physical location has continued to grow and today I stock only other's
quality brands rather than my own, along with toys and interior design
pieces.
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I'm a busy mother of three. I was born in 1970 in Sweden. I love color
and simply adore retro design. I consider myself a self-made
businesswoman and definitely plead guilty to being a workaholic!
What do the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
Most people comment on how DUNS' designs and prints are truly "unisex".
Also, the happy and vibrant colours definitely seem to attract my
customers. They are simply eye catching! What truly amazes so many

us about the location where Dollyrocker und Konsorten is located?
We are located in Berlin Friedrichshain, which is a young
and trendy district of East Berlin whith a colourful mixture of
students, families, individualists and travellers from all over the
world.
For how long have you've had the shop?
Almost seven years
How come you decided to start a shop?
As beeing mothers with a fashion design degree the idea of creating
kids clothes was not far away. That is how Dollyrocker was born.
Dollyrocker –that’s little daisy to cheeky monkey originals for children
from
0 – 7, lovingly hand-crafted by the designers Gabi Hartkopp and Ina
Langenbruch.
We started our cosy shop/workspace in 2003, where we recycle handpicked
and top quality textiles, using high natural fibre content stretch
materials for maximum comfort. Each DOLLYROCKER piece is unique and has
its own story to tell.
Of equal importance as the creative method is the ecological standpoint.
We make recycled fashion from the view that there is a plentiful supply
of material to fall back on. Furthermore,
in most recycled fabrics, residues of dyes or chemical treatments to
which children are especially sensitive have been all but washed out.
In 2008 our "new baby", und Konsorten, was born. We expanded our shop
with a carefully chosen mix of kids fashion ans accessories brands who
produce fair and environmentally friendly.
Tell us a bit about yourself
As mentioned above we are both mothers of four daughters aged betwen 2
and 20 years. We both studied fashion design here in Friedrichshain and
that is how we got to know each other and where the idea of our shop was
born...
What does the customers say about DUNS Sweden?
DUNS Sweden became one of our favourites soon, cause it matches with our
shop philosophy very well and of cause our customers love it. Just like
our own designs it gives kids enough room to be child and brightens
rainy days with its happy colours and prints.
